If your situation is not on the list
The menu covers what we are asked for most. It is not everything we do. Nationality/citizenship and immigration work is wide, and a fair amount of what we take on arrived because somebody wrote in and asked whether it was possible.
Things that often turn out to be possible
A nationality nobody in the family has thought about for two generations. A document an authority says does not exist. A refusal that looked final. A move between two countries where neither set of rules seems to fit. A company that needs one person in a particular place and cannot see how.
The furthest back we have gone is five generations. The family had left the Netherlands five generations ago; the oldest person at the root of it was born in the Netherlands in the 1890s and moved abroad as an adult, to one of the traditional migration countries — the United Kingdom, South Africa, Australia. Their descendants are Dutch today. Proving it is the real work, and it is work we do.
What we do first
In an initial consultation we look at your facts and tell you what we think is possible, what it would involve and roughly what it would cost. We will be frank with you about fees, chances and the best route. If the answer is no, you will hear that early rather than late. This work and this world can be complex, and if new information or a surprise changes the outlook later, we will say so then too.
What to send
Where you were born, where you live now, which nationalities are held by whom in the family and when they were acquired, and what you are trying to achieve. If there is a decision letter, send it whole, with the date you received it. Contact us · Our fees.
