Do you live in the UK? Are you considering to become a Brit? Do you meet all the criteria to become an British citizen? Want to make sure your naturalisation application will be approved?

  • Automatic acquisition of British citizenship at birth.
  • Citizenship by registration.
  • Citizenship by naturalisation.

These are your guys! John and Jacqueline have in-depth knowledge of the naturalisation processes and citizenship regulations. In fact they are often consulted by other lawyers as they have particular expertise in British citizenship, including complex ancestral claims to British nationality.

John has particular expertise in British nationality law. He was the lead solicitor in the landmark Supreme Court case which opened the door to registration of those born outside the UK and Commonwealth before 1 January 1983 to a non-UK born British citizen mother. John has dealt with a wide variety of unusual or complex citizenship scenarios and has written extensively on the subject. He has participated in Home Office-led stakeholder consultations in relation to nationality legislation.

Please also check if your current country allows dual nationality/citizenship! Not all do, and thus you may need to make a tough choice. Sometimes there are exceptions allowing dual nationality. Many countries, like the UK, allow dual nationality (except for terrorists). However, check before you start paying the application fees.
