When I wanted to obtain a non-EU nationality I didn’t want to lose my Dutch nationality which I had earlier obtained through naturalization. My work brings me to different countries and having the nationality of countries where I have friends, family, and an emotional connection gives me the security of equal rights and being allowed to return.
