I very much appreciate Kris’s very helpful advice. I consulted him on several occasions. He has been very encouraging and clear in explaining the law regarding Dutch nationality and the requirements for the passport application which I had found complicated and a bit confusing. In consequence I completed the application and have now received my passport!
