South African government issued on 10 November ’23 a white paper on immigration and citizenship. The language shows that it wants to become more restrictive where it comes to immigration and naturalisations. This paper does not seem to mention the recent court ruling and possible reparation of citizenship for those who lost their SA citizenship/nationality. This white paper seems to mainly consider migrants/expats in South Africa.
